This week, we remember the bravery of those who fought for our freedom.
As we mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day, we honour the incredible courage and sacrifice of those who served in World War II, both on the front lines and at home and celebrate the Allied victory in Europe
Their strength played the most integral role in shaping the freedom we have today.
Their legacy lives on.
We will remember them.

PRS Turns 8! 🎉
✨ In our penultimate day of Celebrating our OGs, today, we’re shining the spotlight on none other than our Retail Operations Manager, Rich Blakey✨
His face is so well known at PRS by all of our colleagues and has played such an integral role in helping to make PRS& the success it is today!
Read about his journey!
What do you remember about your very first day?
The first day for myself and my team at the time was hard to pin down, this really was a whirlwind of Engagement, Change, Training and Set up ahead of opening the Doors on our new Environments for the first time.
What made you decide to join PRS, and what has kept you here for 8 years?
I was very much at a crossroads in my career, I felt I was below deck on an Oil Tanker that was unwilling or incapable of changing direction to suit the retail climate.
From the very first presentation from the PRS SLT on the corner of Tottenham Court Road/Oxford St, I felt as though I had the opportunity to jump aboard a Speedboat willing and able to hop the waves of the changing face of retail, ensuring it had the customer`s decisions front and central which in turn would deliver performance.
How has your role evolved over the years?
I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to organically evolve, grow and develop over that last 8 years seeing my role naturally develop from Store Manager through to my current role.
What’s the biggest innovation or change you’ve seen at PRS?
Unable to pin this one down to one, we have achieved So much at every level of the business.
What’s one thing about PRS that hasn’t changed since day one?
Our absolute commitment to ensure that our colleagues and customers alike are treated with dignity, humility and at the forefront of every decision.
If you could describe PRS in three words, what would they be?
Tenaciously Customer Focused

✨ Today, we’re shining the spotlight two incredible colleagues who have been an integral part of making PRS what is is today! Tracey Finch Head of Merchandising and Supply and Susan Nasili, Assistant Accountant
Let`s learn about Susan`s journey!
My first day I came into what we had called the war room (which was a little office with a boardroom table in it which we all sat around). We were still working out the logistic of the stores opening under our management when I started. I’m sure I made an amazing impression on Steve Cochrane when he was holding a meeting and I nearly fell off my chair 😉
I joined PRS as it was an exciting opportunity to join a brand new company and really help shape the structure in which the head of the company had envisioned.
I love my role within PRS, I manage all the cash received in from all stores, call centre and B2B. Making sure we have received all the funds, and ironing out any problems where we haven’t. I also manage the purchase ledger and make sure we pay all our suppliers on time.
PRS has always been a very friendly & supportive place to work. Having become a single mum of 4 gorgeous boys due to the breakdown of my marriage whilst working here, I always felt like PRS took care of me and my needs which helped me to do my job as well as I have done during that period of my life.

✨ Today, we’re shining the spotlight two incredible colleagues who have been an integral part of making PRS what is is today! Tracey Finch Head of Merchandising and Supply and Susan Nasili, Assistant Accountant
Let`s learn about Tracey`s journey!
My first day
I arrived at Network House just before Christmas to meet the directors and other heads supporting
the start of the PRS & Samsung journey. Immediately, we started working on our “department strategy”. It was a long time ago now but I remember there were a lot of post notes flying around.
For about 3 months we worked in a meeting room, all sitting around a big table, working towards opening the PRS stores in March.
It was full on but a thoroughly unique experience for me and my career to date.
Once launched, it was expected for some of us to move on, as our key role was to we had set up key processes but was offered a full-time role, which I was delighted to accept.
How my role has evolved
I started running the department by myself. After the first year, I recruited an assistant,
8 years later, we are now a team of 4.
Biggest change /innovation for PRS
PRS have invested in system developments over the years. I facilitated the deployment of Cognos about 4 years ago, from which we now use a full suite of reports for daily reporting and in depth analysis.
More recently I supported launching the stores colleague dashboard and soon, a new and improved Store dashboard to support driving store performances.
3 years ago, I secured a budget to transfer the stock planning to a licenced tool which I had custom built. This provides my team with a robust tool to forecast and plan intake effectively for general weekly demand and key events delivering consistent great in store availability.
Key to success
PRS continues to improve year on year, as we continuously review how we do things as we face into challenging times.
What hasn’t changed …. is the people. The leadership team has seen few changes.
The Head office team is small but we all support each other and understand where each others strengths lie. We have some fun events along the way too, to celebrate our success.
3 words to describe PRS
“BEING THE BEST”
